Senior Citizen Rates
White Pine Camp offers a 20% discount to senior citizens, age 60 and over, Sunday through Thursday, January 2nd through June 20th and September 7th through December 20th. Holiday blackout periods apply.
Military Rates
White Pine Camp appreciates the service of our men and women in the United States Military Service. We offer reduced rates to our military personnel.
Gift Certificates
White Pine Camp is offering a 10% discount on gift certificates. Purchaser cannot be the recipient.
Our SeasonsWhite Pine Camp is beautiful and memorable all seasons of the year. For a romantic weekend, family vacation or special event, White Pine Camp is a place our guests return to again and again, enjoying a different side of the Adirondacks each season.
Winter
Winter is a magical season at White Pine Camp. Rustic elegant guest quarters with wood burning fireplaces or fire view wood stoves as well as central heat will make your stay comfortable and pleasant. There are miles of cross country ski trails accessible from or near the property, including the cross-country trail system at the Adirondack Park Visitor Center only 3 miles from White Pine Camp. There are downhill ski areas at Whiteface Mountain less than an hour away, and Titus Mountain has night skiing about a half hour away. Snowshoeing trails are everywhere, out the door and in the area. Osgood Pond offers excellent ice fishing for northern pike and perch.
Titus Mountain Ski Package - Ski Free! Titus Mountain is less than 30 minutes' drive from White Pine Camp. They have excellent beginner's, intermediate and advanced trails, lighted nighttime skiing, with less wait time and lower rates than other area ski centers. White Pine Camp offers a winter weekend package that includes cabin rental and two complimentary all-day lift passes to Titus Mountain. Ask our manager for details. For more information on Titus Mountain, click here.Aside from winter activities, guests enjoy experiencing the ambiance of the Olympic village of Lake Placid, the famous ice castle in Saranac Lake, restaurants, shopping, and other attractions of the Olympic region in winter. White Pine Camp is a memorable place for couples, family, or friends to enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, or any winter week or weekend. Spring
The Adirondacks come alive in May and June with infinite shades of green. As the ice melts on Osgood Lake, fishermen and women enjoy the excellent spring fishing from the camp's rowboats and canoes and from the foot bridge, while non-fishing guests enjoy paddling around Osgood Lake and down the secluded Osgood River. Other guests enjoy hiking the area trails and peaks with views not available in the summer when the leaves are full. As always, area restaurants, movies, and shopping enhance longer visits to White Pine Camp. Evenings are spent around the fire, enjoying a good book or just relaxing with family and friends. Enjoy the historic Saranac Inn Golf Course, less than 15 minutes from White Pine Camp. This 18-hole course is set amidst beautiful, Adirondack Mountain scenery. For guests who stay at White Pine Camp for two nights or longer, before June 22, one free round of 18-holes with golf cart is included in your rental cost. Additional rounds may be purchased at the discounted price of $45 with cart. Call WPC manager to reserve your spring golf package.
The Wild Center Package. White Pine Camp offers two free admission tickets to the new Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks with a two night stay. Available September 1st through June 30th, holiday weekends excluded. Please ask for the Wild Center Package when making your reservation. White Pine Camp guests may purchase additional discounted tickets any time.
Summer
There is no end to the recreational activities of summer in the Adirondacks and at White Pine Camp. Guests enjoy swimming in Osgood Lake from several docks and sandy shorelines along White Pine Camp's 4000 feet of lake frontage. Boating on the lake, walking along the "Red Dot" trail to the nearby Adirondack Park Visitors Center, hiking scores of Adirondack trails and mountains, enjoying the areas's scenic, historic and cultural attractions-there's never enough time to do all the things one hopes to.Area activities aside, guests love to just hang out at White Pine Camp-sitting on one's porch, enjoying meals together, using the historic bowling alley or other camp facilities, finding a quiet place in one of the Japanese Tea House or Tennis House or along the shoreline to read, meditate or simply enjoy the lake and landscape. Many couples and families return year after year to "their" cabin at White Pine Camp.
Fall
Fall has all the attractions of summer except swimming (although the hearty extend the season well into September). Enjoy the boating and canoeing, hiking, sightseeing, area scenic, historical and cultural attractions. But autumn in the Adirondacks also comes with the stunning fall colors, which typically begin in mid-September, reach their height in early October, and linger late into October. The fresh air is invigorating and the cabins' fireplaces provide peaceful hours each day and evening for reading, relaxing and reflecting.Autumn Golf. A reduced rate is offered at the Saranac Inn Golf Course for White Pine Camp Guests September 1st through Columbus Day.
